Portrait Photography Course
In this course Photographers will learn to approach portrait photography not as a one-size fits all service to their clients, but to treat each portrait as having it’s own unique story to tell. Areas of focus for this course include uncovering your client’s story, developing a story appropriate tone and mood for the portrait of any subject, and how to light for various face and body types.
Camera Basics Course
This course is a primer on basic camera operations and training new photographers to understand the functions of a camera and the impact that each function has on a final photograph. Areas of focus will cover ISO, moving beyond Auto mode and understanding Manual, Shutter Priority and Aperture Priority shooting modes. sync speeds, camera aperture, white balance, RAW vs JPG.
Photoshop Basics Course
In this course Photographers will learn about the various tools within Adobe’s flagship photo editing program. Areas of focus include understanding and working with content layers, an overview of adjustment layers and how they effect the appearance of an image. This course is designed to provide Photographers with a foundational understanding of the capabilities of the program.
Photoshop Techniques Course
In this course Photographers will learn techniques for retouching skin, creating composites, color grading images to enhance tone and mood, how to create and use selective masks, and other techniques routinely used to digitally retouch today’s competitive images.
Product Photography Course
In this course Photographers will learn the ins and outs of approaching the staging, styling, lighting and composition of commercially viable product photographs. Areas of focus for this course include how to light for glass objects and control reflections, how to maintain precise control over true product colors, and how to build a tabletop set that both compliments the product and contributes to telling it’s story.
